I have been painting for over 15 years. I love to paint and oil is my medium. I find that the viscosity, smoothness and sheen that oil paint gives to the art work is wonderful.
I have been very fortunate to study at the Nassau County Museum of Art in New York with Steve Lampasona. He is a great teacher who imparted his love of art and enthusiasm to me.
I enjoy painting landscapes, seascapes and, now mountains. Since moving to San Francisco, surrounded by them, their shapes and color changes, inspire me to paint them. I now use brighter colors especially reds, yellows, and siennas.
The eucalyptus trees, with their blue grey leaves are majestic and graceful, and the native grasses that grow along side are beautiful.
